A membrane nitrogen generator is a special equipment designed to produce gaseous nitrogen from atmospheric air by the method of membrane separation. The gas separation process proceeds due to the different penetration rates of the components of the gas mixture through the polymer membranes due to the differential partial pressures on both sides. During the separation of compressed air, impenetrable nitrogen passes along the entire length of the membrane module and enters the consumer, and oxygen, which has better permeability through the membrane, is discharged into the atmosphere as permeate. At the output, we get a gas mixture with a nitrogen content of up to 99.9%. The main components of the membrane generator are: membrane modules placed on a support frame-base together with auxiliary components (valves, regulators), respectively connected to each other. The generator is equipped with an automatic control system to control the parameters of the gas mixture separation process.

Adsorption nitrogen plant is a set of equipment for the production of nitrogen from atmospheric air by short–cycle heat-free adsorption at a pressure of up to 13 bar. The adsorption nitrogen plants of the Provita company allow to produce nitrogen with a purity of up to 99.9999%. The capacity of the plants ranges from several liters per minute to hundreds of cubic meters per hour. The basis of the installations are nitrogen adsorption generators developed and manufactured by our company. A carbon molecular sieve with a developed microporous structure is used as an adsorbent. The gas generator requires dry compressed air with a pressure of at least 6 bar to operate, so the installation includes an air compressor, as well as a dehumidifier and an air receiver (if they are not part of the compressor). The source air must be cleaned of dust and oil, which is carried out by the main filters included in the installation or directly by the nitrogen generator. The nitrogen receiver is used for the accumulation of production gas.

Setting and monitoring of all parameters of the spectrometer and processing of the measured spectra is carried out from the operating windows of the control and processing programs. Since 2000, more than ten spectrometers of this type have been supplied to leading scientific organizations in Russia and neighboring countries. One of the few industrial applications of Mössbauer spectroscopy should be noted - the development and supply to the Volgodonsk NPP of certified MS-1104Em methods and spectrometer for monitoring corrosion processes in the heat exchange circuits of the VVER-1000 reactor.

The advantage of the system using a closed-cycle helium cooling unit from Helix Technology Corporation (USA) is the ability to provide low measurement temperatures (up to 10 K) without loss of consumables (helium) with a compact arrangement of equipment.
