The recommended cooling water consumption is 60+10 l/h and is regulated by the outlet water temperature, which should not exceed plus 400C. The water drain should be free (with a jet break). Not allowed: operation of the pump without water cooling, exceeding the maximum exhaust pressure of 33.3 Pa (0.25 mm Hg). The level of the working fluid during operation, at which the parameters of the NVDM-160 pump are provided, must correspond to min 10mm, max 17mm. The volume of the filled working fluid is 0.3 liters

The use of a 2VVN1-6M(H) water-ring vacuum pump for pumping out water-gas mixtures is allowed only if the bulk of the water is separated and discharged at the pump entrance. Failure to comply with this requirement may lead to unacceptable overload of the electric motor and destruction of the details of the 2VVN1-6M(H) pump. The pump operating mode in the range from 13.3 Pa (0.1 mmHg) to the maximum residual pressure is cyclically irregular.
