Electrolysis plant
A hydrogen production plant is a special equipment designed to produce hydrogen gas and oxygen by electrochemical decomposition of water into its main elements (in short, electrolysis of water).
Today there are three ways to implement the electrolysis technology of hydrogen production, differing in the type of electrolyte used and the conditions of electrolysis.
The electrolysis plant has a modular type of construction. A standard stationary installation consists of one or more electrolysis units and one process unit. The number of electrolysis units depends on the performance of the installation and the need to reserve electrolyzers (for objects of increased responsibility).
