At the 2nd Congress of Young Scientists in Sochi, the Coordinating Council for Youth Affairs in the Scientific and Educational Spheres and the Youth Council of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators (VOIR) held the "NASHA LABA" exhibition, organized as part of the respective project. The exhibition was held with the financial support of UCC Uralchem.
Instruments, furniture, reagents for equipping chemical, physical, biological, and engineering laboratories were presented: about 190 items of scientific equipment and about 600 types of components from 36 manufacturers from various regions of Russia and Belarus.
The exibition was interactive: most of the equipment was operational and available for a real demonstration of its capabilities.
The exhibition was visited by Presidential Aide Andrei Fursenko, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov, President of the Kurchatov Institute Mikhail Kovalchuk, General Director of the Russian Science Foundation Alexander Khlunov, Rector of Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichy, entrepreneur Oleg Deripaska and others. Following the results of the exhibition, the participants reached a number of agreements on cooperation with scientific organizations.
The exibition also hosted a session entitled "NASHA LABA": RUSSIAN SCIENTIFIC INSTRUMENTS AND CONSUMABLES
The participants of the discussion talked about the ways to provide science and high-tech production with high-quality devices and other goods, what steps are needed and in what sequence. The speakers were Alexander Mazhuga (First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Science and Higher Education of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation), Alexey Alekseev (Director of JSC "Scientific and Technological Equipment"; President of the Association "Electronic Engineering"), Irina Vendilo (General Director of the Association “ROSHIMREAKTIV"), Alexander Krylov (Managing Director of the Agency for technological Development), Vladislav Lyutynsky (General Director of Algimed Techno LLC), Maxim Nikitin (Leading Researcher – Head of the Laboratory of Nanobiotechnology at MIPT), Ekaterina Chaban (Director of the Department of State Scientific and Scientific-Technical Policy of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia). The discussion was moderated by the authors of the "NASHA LABA" project: Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, member of the Coordinating Council for Youth Affairs in the Scientific and Educational Spheres Sergey Adonin and Chairman of VOIR Youth Council Olga Tarasova.
