"NASHA LABA": in December the 'Sirius' Educational Centre will host the meetng of young scientists and manufacturers of scientific equipment

"In December, Sochi will host a major event, the Congress of Young Scientists. At the moment, we are really planning to arrange a small exposition of Russian manufacturers of scientific equipment there. On the one hand, this will allow young scientists to get acquainted with manufacturers, on the other hand, the Congress will be attended by grant holders of the Russian Science Foundation, recipients of state support measures, that is, potential buyers, the very people who can subsequently purchase this equipment. I am sure that such a meeting will be useful," Sergey Adonin, professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a leading researcher at the A. Nikolaev Institute of Inorganic Chemistry of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, member of the Coordination Council for Youth Affairs in the Scientific and Educational Spheres, told Radio Russia.

Olga Tarasova, Chairman of the Youth Council of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators (VOIR), also took part in the program "Russian Radio University". The guests of the broadcast discussed the problems faced by scientists under sanctions pressure, the production of domestic equipment, talked about the opportunity to train students, about the "White List" of manufacturers and the list of revelations.

"NASHA LABA" is a national catalog of modern scientific equipment, consumables and components manufactured in Russia and Belarus. The project was launched in July 2022 by the Coordination Council for Youth Affairs in the Scientific and Educational Spheres and the VOIR Youth Council. The catalog is formed based on the reviews of scientists and currently includes over 4800 items and over 100 manufacturers. Anyone can contribute to the development of the catalog: lab@scienceid.net and chat in Telegram.
