Sulfur and Metal Analyzer SPECTROSCAN MSW
Sulfur and Metal Analyzer SPECTROSCAN MSW
Technical Regulation TR CU 013/2011 "On requirements for automotive and aviation gasoline, diesel and marine fuel, jet fuel and fuel oil" imposes requirements for the content of sulfur and metals in automotive fuel. The analyzer allows you to measure, in order to confirm the conformity of the fuel, according to the following indicators: mass fraction of sulfur, concentration of iron, manganese and lead. The analyzer implements an arbitration method for measuring the mass fraction of sulfur in automotive fuel of the third, fourth and fifth classes according to GOST R 52660-2006 / GOST ISO 20884-2016, and also allows you to measure the mass fraction of iron, manganese and lead. The MSW SPECTROSCOPE is designed taking into account the requirements for measuring low sulfur and metal contents in petroleum products. Meets the requirements for equipment and precision standards: GOST R 52660-2006 / GOST ISO 20884-2016, GOST R 53203-2008, GOST 33194-2014, ASTM D6334. The design of the analyzer allows it to be used in mobile laboratories. The operator's actions when performing measurements are minimized: - the number/name of the sample is entered from the built-in keyboard; - the sample is poured into two cuvettes; - the obtained samples are placed in the analyzer and measurements are started. The analyzer performs all subsequent actions automatically without operator involvement: - calculates and displays the content of elements in the sample; - calculates convergence - the difference in determining the content of elements in the first and second samples; - prints measurement results on the built-in printer.

Two-pulse laser source of excitation of atomic emission spectra
Two-pulse laser source of excitation of atomic emission spectra
The laser source is designed to excite atomic emission spectra when performing qualitative spectral analysis of hard rocks - metals, minerals, glasses and others. The source is based on a two-pulse YAG: Nd laser with electro-optic Q-switching operating at the main wavelength of 1064 nm. The duration of each pulse is no more than 10 ns, and the delay between them is adjustable from 0 to 60 microseconds. The possibility of the laser beam to focus on an area of 300 to 1000 microns makes it possible to conduct microanalysis of inclusions, perform two-dimensional scanning of the surface or locally analyze samples with virtually no damage to the surface. A significant advantage of the laser source is the expressiveness and lack of special sample preparation for a wide range of conductive and non-conductive materials. Visual observation and pointing of the beam at the sample is carried out using a stereoscopic microscope integrated into the system, as well as a high-resolution digital video camera with image transmission to a computer. Moving the instrument table with a fixed sample is possible both manually for adjustment, and with the help of stepper motors in two coordinates during analysis, which provides surface scanning and spectrum recording with reference to the video image. The installation can be used in conjunction with any spectral devices – "Grand", "Aspect", "Express", "Hummingbird-2", STE-1, DFS-458, MFS-8, PGS-2 and others. The laser source is designed to excite atomic emission spectra when performing high-quality spectral analysis of hard rocks – metals, minerals, glasses and others.

M532 Raman microscope by Spektr-M
M532 Raman microscope by Spektr-M
1 supp.
The M532® Raman microscope combines the capabilities of the Inspectr R532® Portable Raman Express Analyzer and the U300M microscope, adapting it for both transmission and reflection measurements. The wide functionality of the M532 microscope makes it possible to find and analyze individual particles with a size of 2-3 µm among many similar ones with similar physical and chemical properties, which opens up new research opportunities within the framework of a single Raman system. A spatial resolution of 1 µm and a spectral resolution of 4-6 cm-1 ensure excellent measurement accuracy and reproducibility. The compact design and portability of the instrument allow for high-quality and instant analysis of substances without sample preparation, which makes the M532 microscope an indispensable instrument for a wide range of studies. Equipped with a motorized slide (optional) with a step of 0.36 µm, the M532 microscope scans the surface of the sample, recognizes substances in multi-component heterogeneous mixtures and creates a graphical image of the intensities of Raman scattering characteristic lines at various points on the surface (2D mapping), which makes the M532 microscope the most advantageous in terms of price-quality ratio scanning Raman microscope in the world market.

Acousto-optic video spectrometer
Acousto-optic video spectrometer
At the Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the technology of acousto-optic filtration of optical radiation is used to create a wide class of optical devices that are successfully used, for example, in biomedicine to diagnose various diseases (including oncology), in agriculture to diagnose the condition of plants, during non-destructive testing of complex technical objects and in solving other tasks. Acousto-optics has a number of important advantages over other technologies for obtaining spectral information: - the ability to create imaging devices without spatial scanning, since the acousto-optic filter is a software-controlled tunable light filter; - the compact modular design allows the acousto-optic filter to be integrated into the optical circuit of most imaging devices, which expands their analytical capabilities; - spectrum scanning is carried out by means of an electrical signal, without mechanical scanning; - fast arbitrary spectral addressing causes high shooting speed and the absence of redundant information; - software management. The key element of the presented device – an acousto–optic filter - is being developed at the Scientific Research Center of the UP RAS on the basis of original calculation methods. The manufacture of acousto-optic filters, optical and mechanical components, as well as the assembly, tuning, and calibration of such devices is also carried out at the Scientific Research Center of the UP RAS.

Spectrometer SPECTROSCAN MAX-G
Spectrometer SPECTROSCAN MAX-G
The spectrometer is designed to determine the contents of elements in the range from Ca to U in substances in solid, powdery, dissolved states, as well as deposited on the surface or deposited on filters. The principle of operation of the spectrometer is based on irradiation of the sample with primary radiation from an X-ray tube, measurement of the intensity of secondary fluorescent radiation from the sample at wavelengths corresponding to the elements being determined, and subsequent calculation of the mass fraction of these elements according to a pre-constructed calibration characteristic, which is the dependence of the content of the element being determined on the measured intensity. Secondary fluorescent radiation is decomposed into a spectrum using a crystal analyzer. Due to this, the spectrometer has a high resolution, and therefore the ability to accurately analyze complex multicomponent substances.
